Happy Saturday! We hope you had a great week.
We’ve gathered more news from around the web regarding homeschooling and associated concerns.
Enjoy!

I’m not sure if this has been your experience, but I find homeschooled children are far more well-adjusted and articulate than their average public school counterpart. Despite this, we’ve have yet another article discussing the “socialization concerns” regarding a family’s choice to homeschool. Is this really the “#1″ question anymore? How about this question: why the heck would you choose public education?

Socialization happens organically when you go out in the community, and people have a perception that homeschool families spend all of their time at home, sitting at their kitchen table, filling out worksheets, and that really is not the experience of the majority of homeschool families.
And, lastly, we have an article that isn’t about homeschooling per se, but it is a topic that homeschoolers should find interesting, as many families that homeschool tend to be larger than the typical American family. The low birth rate trend seen in Europe can also happen here in America, as well as in the Christian church. Food for thought.
